Laskowski’s fascinatie met extreme-sports is ontstaan door de autonome
kijk op architectuur, de speelse natuur van de sport en de
daaraan verbonden cultuur. Het is een gevoel dat hij in elke stad
en straat ervaart; wanneer hij een gebouw of trapleuning bekijkt
denkt hij direct aan mogelijkheden om deze creati ef te gebruiken.
In zijn fotografi e is de textuur van de straat met elk hobbeltje en
randje haast voelbaar, net als de band tussen de jongens, hun fi ets
en elkaar.

Laskowski’s fascinati on for extreme sports arose from the
autonomous view on architecture, its playfull nature and the
allied culture. It is a feeling the arti st experiences in every street
and city; whenever he sees a banister his mind thinks of the many
possible ways to engage with it creati vely.
This tricksy element in his work is represented in the form of
performance and movement. Looking for the physical boundaries
of his personal posibiliti es, he searches for an intesti ng image to
capture.
